After about 30 minutes of efforts to de-escalate the male had to be brought to the ground and arrested. His elderly aunt was visibly upset at the sight. I ended up having to stop the aunt from getting involved in the arrest. Afterwards, I took the aunt to the cafeteria and bought her a coffee.
